Dingaleshwar Swamiji Presses for Change in Joshi’s Constituency, Decision on April 2

Hubballi: Fakira Dingaleshwar Swamiji of Shirahatti Bhavaikya Math has declared that the deadline given to BJP leadership to change the constituency of current Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi has passed. A meeting regarding the future course of action will convene in Dharwad on April 2.

Addressing the press here on Sunday, the seer vowed not to back down from his stance. Dingaleshwar Swamiji alleged that Joshi had done injustice to the Lingayat community, claiming that he was intoxicated with power and responsible for unseating BS Yediyurappa from the chief minister’s post.

Dingaleshwar Swamiji led a meeting of seers recently at the Moorusavir Math in Hubballi and demanded that the BJP leadership change Joshi’s constituency. He stated that if the party fails to make a decision, they would be forced to take action on April 2.

However, the seer did not disclose whether he would run as an independent candidate from Dharwad but asserted that the sole aim is to defeat Joshi, who did massive injustice to the Lingayat community.

Following his press meet, he received several calls, with some callers attempting to persuade him, others pressuring him, and a few even threatening him. Nevertheless, he remains undeterred by these attempts.

With the political landscape heating up in Dharwad district, all eyes will be on the meeting scheduled for April 2.
